    Our commitment: Pixatale is built for families. Your child's safety and your family's privacy are our highest priorities. We are fully COPPA compliant, contain zero ads, and never sell your data.
  

1. Who We Are

Pixatale ("we", "our", "us") is a children's storytelling application that creates personalized AI-powered storybooks and lullabies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application and services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name through Google Sign-In authentication. We do not store your Google password.

Child Profile Information: To personalize stories, we collect the child's first name, age, and gender. A photo may optionally be provided to generate a Pixar-style character illustration.

Voice Data: If you use the voice clone feature for personalized lullabies, we temporarily process a short voice recording. Voice recordings are used solely for creating a voice model for lullaby generation and are not permanently stored on our servers. They are deleted after processing.

Generated Content: Stories, illustrations, and lullabies created within the app are stored in your account so you can revisit them in your library.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as which features are used and how often, to improve the app experience. This data is anonymized and cannot identify individual users or children.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create personalized storybooks featuring your child as the main character
To generate Pixar-style character illustrations from provided photos
To create personalized lullabies, optionally using voice clone technology
To manage your subscription and provide customer support
To improve our services and develop new features

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

    Pixatale is designed to be used by parents/guardians on behalf of their children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.
  

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13
All account creation and data input is performed by the parent/guardian
We do not display any advertisements to children
We do not use children's data for behavioral targeting or profiling
Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us
Child photos used for character generation are processed via secure AI services and are not shared with third parties for any purpose other than generating the character illustration

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our features:

Google Sign-In: For secure authentication
Supabase: For secure data storage and user management
RevenueCat: For subscription management (processes payment through Google Play / Apple App Store)
AI Services: For generating story text, illustrations, text-to-speech narration, and music. These services process data solely to generate content and do not retain personal information

We do not share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (hosted on secure cloud infrastructure) with Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual stories, lullabies, or child profiles at any time within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Voice recordings used for voice cloning are automatically deleted after the lullaby is generated and are not permanently stored.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing of your data
Export your data in a portable format

9. No Advertising

Pixatale does not display any advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or any form of ad-related data collection. Our revenue comes solely from subscription fees.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
